CRISTIANO RONALDO TIPS FOUR PLAYERS TO WIN FUTURE BALLON D’OR AWARDS

With Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi dominating the Ballon d’Or awards in the last decade, the Juventus forward has revealed to Medhi Benatia the four players who could win the award in the near future.

According to Cristiano Ronaldo, players like Kylian Mbappé, Neymar, Eden Hazard, and Ousmane Dembélé will soon dominate the Balloon d’Or awards.

Ronaldo and Messi have five Ballon d’Or titles each to their names with Luka Modric breaking their 10-year dominance last year by winning the award.



Modric became the first player to win the award other than Messi or Ronaldo since Kaka did it back in 2007. In an interview with a Moroccan news outlet, Benatia revealed Ronaldo had told him who will dominate the awards in future

He said;


“When I was at Juventus, Cristiano Ronaldo told me that Mbappé, Neymar, Hazard, and Ousmane Dembélé will be the players who will fight for the Ballon d’Or after him and Messi.”

The Ballon d’Or is an annual football award presented by France Football. It has been awarded since 1956, although between 2010 and 2015, an agreement was made with FIFA and the award was temporarily merged with the FIFA World Player of the Year, and known as the FIFA Ballon d’Or.
