FANTASY PREMIER LEAGUE fans have been eagerly awaiting the launch of the 2019/20 season, and these stand-out player prices could well influence how well their GW1 team performs.

It may only be just over a month since the end of the 2018/19 campaign, but Fantasy Premier League fans are already gearing up for the new season.

FPL fanatics have been desperate to learn about any price changes or position alterations to their favourite players and can’t wait to start planning ahead of the opening day following the official launch of the 2019/20 game.

Official Fantasy Premier League generated excitement among supporters by teasing some of their new player values before revealing the whole database of squads.

So now fantasy bosses can already start budgeting for their perfect team – but will your choices be influenced by these 10 key player prices?

GKP: Lukasz Fabianski (West Ham United) – £5.0m

A price rise for the Polish stopper who made the most saves out of every Premier League goalkeeper last season.

Fabianski racked up 143 points in 2018/19 and is surely worth the outlay with the Hammers stopper expected to be busy once again.

DEF: Ricardo Pereira (Leicester City) – £6.0m

One of the lower-profile success stories of last season, with the Portuguese defender providing a handy attacking outlet for the Foxes down the right flank.

An inevitable rise in value has followed, but eight assists should be enough to tempt FPL bosses.

DEF: Matt Ritchie (Newcastle United) – £5.5m

A positional change for the Magpies favourites, who has dropped back from midfield into defence after being utilised as a wing-back for much of the season.

It remains to be seen where Ritchie will be deployed this campaign, with the managerial seat currently vacant at St James’ Park.

DEF: Andrew Robertson (Liverpool) – £7.0m

Unsurprisingly, the Scot has seen his value skyrocket after a stellar season with Liverpool.

Robertson has jumped up from £6.0m but did manage 21 clean sheets, 12 assists and 29 bonus points during the previous campaign.

MID: Ryan Fraser (Bournemouth) – £7.5m

Another eye-watering price rise with Fraser originally starting the 2018/19 campaign at just £5.5m.

However, the Scot produced 21 attacking returns and created 28 big chances for team-mates so some FPL managers will be sure to invest.

MID: Jack Grealish (Aston Villa) – £6.0m

Aston Villa have a number of key assets worth considering this season, but none more so than captain Grealish after his stunning form towards the end of the 2018/19 campaign.

The attacking midfielder will be key to the Villans’ chances of staying up this season, and could be a steal at just £6m.

MID: Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – £12.5m

Last season’s joint-top scorer has actually seen a reduction in price down to £12.5m and is now just £1m more expensive than team-mate Sadio Mane.

Another haul of over 20 goals will be ample reward for managers willing to shell out the cash on the Egyptian winger.

FWD: Raul Jimenez (Wolverhampton Wanderers) – £7.5m

A stunning jump of £2m is the result of a superb debut campaign with Wolves as the Mexican notched 13 goals and 10 assists.

The steep increase is sure to put of a number of FPL bosses, but Jimenez will likely make the doubters rue their decision.

FWD: Teemu Pukki (Norwich City) – £6.5m

Pukki hammered in 29 goals last season and also bagged nine assists as the Canaries cruised to the Championship title.

It remains to be seen how well the Finn adapts to the Premier League, but he is surely worth considering as a third striker option.

FWD: Callum Wilson (Bournemouth) – £8.0m

Like Jimenez, Wilson’s value has rocketed after 14 goals and 12 assists, averaging out at 5.6 points per match.

Managers may be tempted to turn to team-mate Josh King after such a dramatic price-hike, although they may come flooding back if Wilson claims penalties this season.
